Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is known for films like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters ?. She was born in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. She started her professional career taking classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then made her debut on film as a support role in the film comedy 'St Trinian's'. Shortly after, she was featured in the spy thriller "James Bond" film "Quantum of Solace'. The film was average with mediocre reviewers.
