Aura Garrido is a Spanish actress that works on TV and film. She has acted in Stockholm along with TV shows like El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was a Madrid born child in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer. Her mother, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. She began her piano lessons at four years old, and soon after, started practicing ballet. The person she was most close to was a native English speaking person, and she learned to speak English through her. Her high-school studies over and she attended Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. She studied interpretation for three years, with a focus on translation of text. She left the school in 2010, when she was offered the role of Planes para manana. This role earned her the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress and an Goya Awards nomination in the best breakthrough actress category among other nominations.
