Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca is an actor from Romania. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. The actress speaks French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her father is the theater professor for one of Romania's finest theater schools. The young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. She was chosen as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. The actress was a professor at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria is a Romanian Actress born 01 April 1978, Iasi Romania. An actress of Romanian descent Anamaria Marinca made her debut in the film industry with the British-Canadian TV film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. The role she played in the Romanian art-film 4 Months, 3 weeks, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days is remembered as well. It was a huge success and won numerous accolades, such as being awarded the European Film Award Best Actress to London Film Critics. In 2007, she was a part of in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si 2 days (4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 days) produced by Cristian Mungiu, which received the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other prizes (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI award). In addition, she appeared on The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she appeared as Yasim in Angwar, the BBC miniseries of five episodes The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular in The Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She later as Irma's German Aunt in Fury, which was released in the year 2014.
